What
Is Clairvoyant Counseling?

Our
bodies, minds and emotions hold more than what we can see, hear,
analyze and consciously remember with our left-brained
intellectual abilities. |
It is fairly
well known among bodyworkers that we all carry emotional memories in our
bodies. It is because of this that when we receive body work (such as
massage, rolfing, or chiropractic work) it is not unusual to experience
feelings of sadness, anger, or grief as these “stuck” emotions are
released. This same type of emotional release can also occur during a
clairvoyant counseling session.
Let’s look at
the following example of a clairvoyant counseling session I had with a
woman who was concerned that she was being too rough verbally on her
children. She couldn’t understand why she often yelled at the
children, especially since the kids’ behavior usually wasn’t serious
enough to cause such a severe reaction.
Client: “I
just can’t understand why I yell at my kids for situations that
shouldn’t warrant it.”
Clairvoyant
Counselor: “Well,
let’s take a look.” (A few quiet moments pass.) “I see an orange,
prickly energy in your throat. It looks like it is your mother’s
energy that you took on years ago when your mother was very frightened
for your safety. I see you standing next to running water, like a creek.
Your mother screamed at you in fear that you might fall in and drown.
Then, her energy came right into your space and lodged into your
throat.”
Client:
“Oh—I remember that! It happened when I was a kid—at our
neighborhood park with the stream!”
Clairvoyant
Counselor: “So, it’s
not your energy. But it’s
stuck there and makes it difficult to bring your own energy through that
area. In addition, that fear for a child’s safety keeps your body on a
higher alert for danger than is necessary. It also looks like your
throat would feel sore or swollen sometimes, even if you don’t have a
cold or flu.
“Now, as your
attention and understanding is on your throat, I’m watching you
release that energy. As the orange drains out, you’re bringing in a
blue-green energy that is
yours. This color is soothing that area, but also will allow you more
awareness and space for you to choose more appropriate responses,
depending on whether danger is present or not.”
Weeks later, the
client phones to say that she has been much calmer with her kids than
before and that even they have noticed it!
Of course, this
mother’s strong reactions to her children could be caused by many
things: the degree that she consciously and unconsciously has taken on
her own parents’ parenting styles; the children purposefully and
successfully pushing their mother’s buttons; the levels of stress,
overwhelm, or exhaustion that the mother may be affected by at that
time, etc. However, this woman was genuinely confused by her reactions
and could not chalk it up to any of these reasons. It is precisely at
this time in a problem (when all known elements are taken into account
and yet you are still confused over why you do what you do) that
clairvoyant counseling can provide some wonderful insights into
behaviors that do not make sense, based on the intensity of a current
situation.
In a different
session with another client, the reading was progressing along the
client’s lines of inquiry when an angry red energy became visible in
her right shoulder area. I described this energy to her and commented
that it looked like it would cause arm weakness in lifting something
heavy; that it might feel like a sharp pain in the shoulder joint.
“Yes,” she
responded. “It has hurt for several years when I lift things,
particularly when lifting things higher than my shoulder. I assumed it
was bursitis.” I could see that this was a male energy, and it became
clearer that it was her father’s energy. She had taken it on when she
was about 18 years old, when she’d started dating someone who her
father didn’t trust. Aha! Here was dad’s fear (also known as
“protection energy”) that she would get into an unsafe involvement
with this young man. This energy became stuck in her shoulder because
her father had unconsciously wanted to hamper her from putting her arms
around this man!
Since this was
over 20 years later, and this client had learned to make better
decisions regarding the men she dated, it was clear that this energy did
not need to stay in her shoulder any longer. I watched her body and
spirit work together to release this energy. She later reported that the
shoulder felt stronger and the pain was gradually reducing as each month
went by.
Our bodies,
minds and emotions hold more than what we can see, hear, analyze and
consciously remember with our left-brained intellectual abilities. The
type of clairvoyant work described above springs from, and can
strengthen, our right brained intuitive and creative abilities.
It is so
empowering for any of us to take steps to heal through spirit-to-body
communication. It is also empowering to learn how to do it for
ourselves! Your spirit holds vast amounts of knowledge regarding healing
your own body. Why not give it a try?
Talk
To Your Body!
If you
have a sudden headache or unusual pain in your body, sit down
and take a few minutes to focus your attention on that area.
Place your awareness right on the pain; focus on it directly
as well as the area of the body around it. Simply “watch”
it with your ability to visualize. Does it seem to have a
color, sound, or other quality? Keep watching the pain and see
if it changes. Sometimes you will be amazed as you feel a
headache move from the back of your head up to the middle,
then to the top of your head and then suddenly leave! How did that
happen? Tell your body that you are aware of the pain. In
addition, give yourself permission to release the energy that
the pain is holding. Often, the simple act of sitting down and
telling your body that you are paying attention to what it is
telling you coupled with your willingness to acknowledge it
(instead of ignoring or surpassing it) can make a dramatic
change in what you experience.
